The purpose of this work stems from the need to have new active nutraceutical ingredients that can also be used in the cosmetic field, creating cosmeceutical products with a high content of resveratrol, well known for its polyphenolic properties attributed to numerous benefits, including scavenging action and anti-aging effects.

Therefore, the overall expression role of the stilbenoids appears particularly suitable in cosmetic preparations indicated for anti-aging treatments, considering that the skin represents the first visible manifestation of the aging process, which involves the appearance of wrinkles, loss of tone, elasticity, dryness, and skin relaxation, all of which it is important to address with suitable products, preferably of a new nutraceutical concept.
